Nyesom Wike alleges that Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed betrayed an agreement to work against Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 elections. Wike claims Mohammed used the G5 governors to reconcile with Atiku after expressing fears of being harmed if Atiku won. Wike also accused some PDP governors of working against the party's interests. He denies plans to leave the PDP.
