The eclipse phases, in Eastern Time (ET), are as follows: Penumbral eclipse begins March 13th at 11:57 p.m.; Partial eclipse begins March 14th at 1:09 a.m.; Totality begins at 2:26 a.m.; Maximum eclipse at 2:58 a.m.; Totality ends at 3:31 a.m.; Partial eclipse ends at 4:47 a.m.; and Penumbral eclipse ends at 6:00 a.m. The totality phase, when the moon appears reddish, will last approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes. It can be viewed with the naked eye from areas with low light pollution, or via online streaming.
