The Korea International Circuit, a £300 million Formula 1 track built in 2013 with a capacity of 120,000, has been abandoned for 12 years after hosting only four races. Located 200 miles from Seoul, it failed to boost the local economy and its abandonment remains somewhat of a mystery.
