A fire at an electrical substation caused travel chaos at London's Heathrow Airport, leading to flight diversions around the world, including Canada. Goose Bay Airport in Labrador accepted 4 diverted flights from Boston, Toronto, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Newark. Flightradar24.com reported a total of 32 flights were diverted to Canadian airports: 6 to Montreal, 8 to Toronto, 10 to Calgary, and 8 to Vancouver. All arriving flights from Heathrow were cancelled at Toronto's Pearson airport.
