Wawe Eseoghene Nelson is on trial in Abuja for allegedly defrauding two US citizens, Kathleen Sharp and Holly Stamm, of $968,000 through advance fee fraud, impersonation, and false pretenses. Sharp testified that Nelson, posing as an engineer, convinced her to send $183,000 in installments. The trial is adjourned until April 16, 2025.
