The American believed to be the last person to see missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki in the Dominican Republic, identified as Riibe, has left the country after being classified as a witness and granted unrestricted freedom of movement by a judge. Riibe told police he was drinking and kissing Konanki in the ocean when they were caught in a current. Konanki's parents have requested Dominican authorities declare her legally dead.
