Americans view the Signal leak in as bad a light as Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as Secretary of State
A YouGov poll found that a majority of Americans view the Signal leak involving a Trump administration Signal chat about a Yemen strike as at least as serious as Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server. 74% of respondents viewed the Signal leak as an issue with 60% of Republicans finding the situation serious. Mike Waltz has taken responsibility for adding the editor of The Atlantic to the group chat, while Trump downplayed the incident.
