An Irishman in Geneva. ‘Life here is gentler, but I miss things about Ireland ... fresh air, smiles’

John Molloy, an Irishman living in Geneva and missing aspects of Ireland, co-founded the international perfume brand Memo with his wife Clara. He transitioned from a banking and finance background at UCD to the perfume industry, influenced by experiences at Brown Thomas under Paul Kelly and studies with Prof Frank Roche. Initially, Molloy pursued an upmarket outdoor clothing brand, Callaghan's Dublin 1796, manufactured by John Partridge in London.
