Cilj od dva posto s novim proračunom Hrvatska će dosegnuti tek u ovoj godini.
The analysis of global military budgets over the past decade highlights significant increases in defense spending by NATO member countries, driven by geopolitical tensions, the threat of conflict with Russia, and pressure from former U.S. President Donald Trump to increase defense spending. Many European countries, including Croatia, have increased their military budgets. According to NATO data, 23 out of 31 NATO member countries reached the 2% GDP target for defense spending by June 2023, up from 10 out of 30 in the previous year. Croatia is expected to meet the 2% target this year, while new members Sweden and Finland have already exceeded it. The text also notes that the U.S. has pressured NATO members to aim for 3% of GDP for defense spending, which would significantly increase Croatia's budget.
