An audience member died from a medical emergency during the opening night of the 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Opening Night Allstars Supershow at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda. Other audience members attempted to provide emergency care before paramedics arrived and stopped the show. The festival will continue as planned.
