Mr Justice Owens said he was satisfied with McGregor’s sworn statement that he had not shared CCTV footage shown during Nikita Hand’s civil trial against him.
The High Court ordered Conor McGregor to pay costs related to Nikita Hand's application for an injunction to prevent the publication of CCTV footage shown during her civil trial against him, despite the judge being satisfied with McGregor's explanation that he hadn't disseminated the footage. Hand's solicitors sought the injunction after news reports suggested imminent publication of the footage, potentially undermining the trial's outcome, in which McGregor was deemed liable for sexually assaulting Hand. Although McGregor swore affidavits confirming he hadn't released the footage, Hand's counsel argued he was still in breach of court orders.
