Despite a deep crisis in the German auto industry, exports increased in 2024 compared to 2023. However, the total value of exports decreased by 1.3% to 135 billion euros. Electric car exports saw significant growth. The USA remained the top export market for German cars, while imports of electric cars into Germany significantly decreased.
