The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense has implemented restructuring measures, including the dissolution and merger of certain agencies, and adjusted troop deployments across the North, Central, and South regions. These actions are part of executing Resolution 05-NQ/TW, which aims to reorganize the People's Army from 2021 to 2030. Nearly 2,900 organizations have been restructured, with reductions in departments and divisions. The restructuring was completed ahead of schedule, enhancing military efficiency. The Ministry also merged the General Logistics and General Technical Departments into the General Logistics-Technical Department. The President commended the efforts, emphasizing the need for continued structural improvements and Party leadership.
