Banned candles sold in Canada recalled and you should dispose as 'hazardous waste'

Canadians who purchased relight candles from Walmart Canada Marketplace are being urged to get rid of them as they pose a fire hazard.On March 12, Health Canada issued a consumer product advisory stating that relight candles were sold on Walmart Canada Marketplace, a community of third-party sellers."Immediately stop using the affected products and dispose of them according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines," stated the agency.Relight candles, or trick candles, are designed to reignite spontaneously after being extinguished or blown out.
