The BBC documentary "Gaza: How to Survive a War Zone" has faced criticism for allegedly promoting Hamas propaganda. It featured 14-year-old Abdullah Al-Yazouri, who is the son of a senior Hamas official, Dr. Ayman Al-Yazouri. Pro-Israel journalist David Collier accused the BBC of knowing about Abdullah's background but presenting him as a typical Gaza resident to elicit sympathy and demonize Israel. Collier also questioned the BBC's due diligence and impartiality, noting that co-director Yousef D. Hammash has pro-Palestinian ties and that the documentary's subjects were previously covered by other media.
