The German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) overturned a previous ruling that required a family in Rangsdorf to demolish their house due to a flawed land purchase resulting from a government agency error. The case is now sent back to the Higher Regional Court of Brandenburg for a new trial. The original land owner claimed that the auction was not legal because the local court did not adequately search for the original land owner.
