The House of Representatives passed the second reading of a bill to create Orlu State, which would be carved out of Imo, Abia, and Anambra states, with Orlu as its capital city. The bill, sponsored by Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere and others, seeks to amend the 1999 Constitution to include 28 local government areas.
