A bill to establish the Office of Prime Minister and Office of President, along with 31 other Constitution amendment bills, passed its second reading in the House of Representatives. These bills include provisions for women's representation in assemblies, reducing pre-election petition determination periods, reviewing qualifications for President, Vice-President, governors and deputy governors, reviewing the status of the Federal Capital Territory, and creating Wan State and Gobir State.
