A University of Calgary paleontologist, Darla Zelenitsky, contributed to the discovery of a new dinosaur species, Duonychus, in Mongolia. This dinosaur evolved to have two 30-centimetre claws, adapted from three claws used for vegetation gathering. Reporting on such finds can take years or decades.
