These pollutants are linked to respiratory illnesses, lung cancer, heart disease, and Parkinson’s disease. While induction hobs produced background pollution levels, gas hobs caused significant pollution spikes, with some exceeding WHO guidelines. Despite the health risks, awareness among gas hob users about the potential impact of air pollution is low. The study suggests switching to induction hobs.
