A care home boss, Helen Burridge, and a senior care assistant, Amy Dickinson, were jailed for mistreating elderly and vulnerable residents at Riddlesden Rest Home in Keighley, West Yorkshire. They were convicted of physically and mentally abusing residents, including leaving residents in soiled clothing and throwing a pillow at a dementia patient. The abuse was reported by a fellow employee, leading to a police investigation and the closure of the care home.
