Hodgson has taken an unpaid leave of absence to run in Markham-Thornhill
Mark Carney recruited Hydro One chair Timothy Hodgson, a former Goldman Sachs banker and advisor at the Bank of Canada, to run for the Liberal Party in Markham-Thornhill. Hodgson has taken an unpaid leave of absence from Hydro One and stepped down from the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan board. Carney, now Prime Minister, called an election and seeks a voter mandate.
