Partidul Acțiune și Solidaritate, formațiune aflată la putere, afirmă că protestele trebuie să fie îndreptate împotriva ,,inacțiunilor guvernărilor anterioare”, subliniind că ,,astăzi Moldova este încă vulnerabilă în fața crizelor pentru că socialiștii au lăsat moștenire o țară săracă”.
The Moldovan government, led by the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), has criticized the opposition Socialist Party, led by Igor Dodon, for planning protests. PAS argues that the protests should target the inactions of past governments, particularly the Socialist-led administrations, which they claim left the country vulnerable. Dodon, who lost the recent presidential election, has announced plans for protests without using party symbols, aiming to support Alexandr Stoianoglo, the defeated candidate. PAS leader Igor Grosu has accused the protests of being part of a Russian strategy to destabilize Moldova.
