Chairwoman appears to accuse Harry of ‘playing victim card’ as he quits charity

The Duke of Sussex founded Sentebale in honour of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

Prince Harry resigned as patron of the Sentebale charity he co-founded, after a reported dispute between the board and chairwoman Dr. Sophie Chandauka. Chandauka accused Harry of "playing the victim card" and alleged poor governance, abuse of power, and bullying within the charity, claiming she was subject to an emergency injunction to prevent her removal. Harry and Prince Seeiso stated they would share their concerns with the Charity Commission, while trustees asserted they asked the chair to step down in the charity's best interest. The Charity Commission is aware of the governance concerns.
