Victims of violence in Catholic schools testified before a National Assembly inquiry, recounting experiences of abuse including solitary confinement ("mitard"), forced participation in hunts for runaway students, and other forms of mistreatment. The government plans to implement measures, including questionnaires, to prevent future violence in schools.
