
The ex-soldier set out from his home in Enfield, north London , in his Seat Ibiza and travelled the 20 miles to the detached house in Bushey, Hertfordshire, where the three women lived.
Kyle Clifford, a former soldier, drove to the home of BBC commentator John Hunt, where he killed Carol Hunt, her daughter Louise, and her sister Hannah using a crossbow and a knife. Clifford, who had a history of disrespectful behavior, planned the attack after Louise ended their relationship. He purchased weapons and other items beforehand. Security footage showed him at a garden center and a gym before the attack. After the crime, he was found hiding in a cemetery and shot himself with a crossbow. During the trial, family and friends were emotionally affected by the evidence presented. Clifford admitted to the murders but denies raping Louise.
