Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian protest activist, felt kidnapped when federal authorities arrested and transported him from New York to Louisiana, according to his lawyers. Khalil's lawyers said they were initially denied attorney-client-protected communications with him, and they claim the White House was involved in the case.
