
El Congreso de la República ha iniciado un nuevo proceso de licitación para garantizar el servicio de alimentación de sus parlamentarios hasta julio de 2026.
The Peruvian Congress is preparing a new, more expensive food service contract for its members, set to last until July 2026. The contract features increased food portions, more meals, and a higher budget (almost S/1,600,000 for 16 months) compared to the previous one (S/2,037,000 for 36 months). The number of annual meals will rise from 16,692 to 24,210 and the staff in charge of the service will increase from 10 to 15 workers. The bidding process concludes on February 25.
