To date, Ireland has paid €130m in support for Ukraine since the war began.
Tánaiste Simon Harris stated that Ireland is "not at that point yet" regarding the potential deployment of Irish peacekeepers to Ukraine. He emphasized the need to stop the war while upholding Ukraine's territorial independence. While a peacekeeping deployment was speculated on last year, Harris's comments come as Ireland is set to provide Ukraine with an additional €50 million in non-lethal military support, bringing Ireland's total support to Ukraine to €180 million.
