Jody Simpson, jailed for abusing her son Tony Hudgell, was attacked in prison. Simpson was initially jailed in 2018, released in February 2024, and then recalled to prison in June 2024. Hudgell, who lost both legs due to the abuse, raised £1.8 million for charity.
