Highlighting the global impact of cooperatives, he noted that they employ 280 million people worldwide, underscoring their role in sustainable development. President Bola Tinubu's administration prioritizes cooperative reforms to foster economic growth, food security, and poverty reduction. The workshop aims to equip participants with skills to manage cooperatives effectively, aligning with the government's goal to restore public trust and revitalize the sector.
