DCP Claims Police and Militia Targeted Gachagua During Narok Campaign

The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) has condemned the violence that broke out in Narok town on Monday, November 24, 2025, alleging that senior police commanders sanctioned and coordinated attacks targeting former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his supporters. Gachagua had gone to Narok to campaign for DCP’s candidate for Ward Representative, Douglas Masikonde, in the by-election set for November 27. The team, however, received a hostile reception, which the party now alleges was orchestrated to disrupt its activities and intimidate supporters.
