Rund 170.000 Angestellte der Deutschen Post erhalten ab April zwei Prozent mehr Gehalt. Ein Jahr später wird weiter aufgestockt. Darauf haben sich das Unternehmen und die Gewerkschaft Ver.di geeinigt.
Deutsche Post and Ver.di reached a wage agreement providing approximately 170,000 employees with a 5% pay increase: 2% effective April 1st, followed by an additional 3% a year later. Employees with 16+ years of service receive an extra vacation day. The agreement follows Ver.di's initial demand for a 7% raise, which the Post rejected citing investment needs and declining mail volumes, leading to cost-cutting measures.
