TCS London Marathon is bigger than ever – yet more runners are unable to get places
The London Marathon is increasingly popular, with organizers hoping to break the record for world's largest marathon in 2025. However, many applicants are rejected, leading them to seek alternative races. Several marathons within an hour of London in 2025 include the Mid Sussex Marathon (May 3-5), Milton Keynes Marathon (May 5), Pilgrim Marathon (September 7), and Richmond Marathon (September 14).
