Doctor was left with his 'guts sticking out' after vengeful colleague broke into his £1m home and stabbed him, court told

Graeme Perks is said to have been attacked by colleague Peter Brooks at his home near Nottingham over long-running disciplinary proceedings at the NHS Trust they both worked for.

A doctor was stabbed by a colleague who broke into his home, leaving him with severe abdominal injuries. The attacker, facing disciplinary proceedings, cycled to the victim's house armed with petrol, matches, a crowbar and a knife. The victim initially mistook the intruder for his son and survived thanks to quick medical intervention.
