The DPP has appealed for leniency a four year sentence which a 22 year old student received for punching, kicking and stamping another man 250 times in a twenty minute attack in Cork.
The DPP has appealed a four-year sentence given to Darragh McLoughlin, a 22-year-old student, for a 20-minute attack in Cork in October 2022, where he punched, kicked, and stamped on a man 250 times, causing serious injuries. The DPP argues the sentence is unduly lenient.
