A day set for favourites was upended when Constitution Hill and State Man fell in the headline race
The Champion Hurdle at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival saw pre-race favorite Constitution Hill and defending champion State Man both fall, allowing Golden Ace to win. Earlier, Kopek Des Bordes, ridden by Paul Townend and trained by Willie Mullins, won the opening race, and Jango Baie triumphed in the Arkle Novices’ Chase.
