A study of wastewater in 128 European cities, including Dublin, found Dublin in the top 20 for cocaine, ketamine, and MDMA levels. The EU drugs agency study, which analyzed sewage samples from 26 countries representing 68.8 million people, detected an increase in MDMA, cocaine, and amphetamine use across Europe but a decrease in cannabis use. Dublin's cocaine levels peaked on Mondays, and high cannabis loads were found in western and southern European cities.
