A 33-year-old Dublin man was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for assaulting the mother of his child and threatening to kill her and her family in December 2020 and January 2021. He pleaded guilty to threatening to kill, assault causing harm, and breaching a protection order. He assaulted the woman in a taxi and later at her home, where he kicked her and threatened to burn the house down.
