The Copa Libertadores 2025 will feature clubs from various South American countries. Peru will have three teams in the group stage: Universitario, Sporting Cristal, and Alianza Lima. The draw for the group stage will take place on March 17th in Luque, Paraguay, alongside the Copa Sudamericana draw. Botafogo, River Plate, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Peñarol, Nacional, Sao Paulo and Racing will be in Pot 1, while Atletico Nacional, Velez Sarsfield, Fortaleza, Sporting Cristal, Universitario, Talleres de Cordoba, Deportivo Tachira and Universidad de Chile will be in Pot 3.
