The EU has launched a public consultation to gather input for its new strategy aimed at supporting startups and scale-ups. The strategy seeks to enhance conditions for innovative companies to grow within the single market by addressing challenges such as access to funding, markets, talent, regulatory barriers, and market fragmentation. It also aims to improve access to advanced infrastructure, knowledge, and services. The consultation is part of the broader 'Compass for Competition' plan, which includes measures like the upcoming European Innovation Act. Stakeholders, including innovators, businesses, investors, policymakers, researchers, and universities, are invited to contribute their opinions. The consultation is available on the EU's 'Have Your Say' portal in all official EU languages, with comments due by March 17.
