The EU is supporting Nigeria's digital sector with investments in infrastructure, entrepreneurship, skills development, and e-governance, with plans to extend support from 2025. A €820 million digital economy package was announced in 2022, with the Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) being the first project launched. The EU supports Nigeria's digitalisation blueprint through the Global Gateway Strategy, focusing on internet access, digital literacy, and skills development, including support for the 3 Million Technical Talents (3MTT) programme.
