Plans are underway to expand Manchester's Mayfield Park, transforming a former city center wasteland into a "go-to destination." The development includes constructing 879 flats, 325,000 sq ft of office space, and 60,000 sq ft of retail space, while increasing the park's size, planting trees, and adding features like a rock garden and water features. Improved pedestrian and cycle connectivity is also planned.
