An explosion occurred at the Russian consulate in Marseille, France, when three homemade explosive devices were thrown at the building. Two of the devices detonated, while the third did not explode. Initially, authorities suggested the devices might have been Molotov cocktails, but this was later clarified as inaccurate. The incident took place on the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
