Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Frederick Nwajagu, has appealed his one-year jail sentence for illegally calling himself a chief in Lagos. He argues the Obas and Chiefs of Lagos State Law violates the Nigerian Constitution. Nwajagu was acquitted of terrorism charges but convicted for violating the Obas and Chiefs Law. Although sentenced, he was released due to time already served.
