First look: Serpentine unveils plans for first ever interactive children's pavilion by Sir Peter Cook

Serpentine has announced plans for an interactive children's pavilion designed by Sir Peter Cook, to be located alongside a timber pavilion by Marina Tabassum in Kensington Gardens. The 25-foot dome, described as a 'graphic toy,' will function as a space for gatherings, workshops, and performances. It aims to celebrate the pioneering spirit of Zaha Hadid and offer a free, creative environment for families. If approved by Westminster Council, the pavilion will open on June 11 and remain open until August 10. The main Serpentine pavilion will also open in early June, hosting events through late October.
