The Peruvian Prosecutor's Office raided the home and other properties of Interior Minister Juan José Santiváñez as part of an investigation into alleged influence peddling. Santiváñez is accused of accepting US$20,000 to influence decisions in the Constitutional Court (TC), the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE), and the Ministry of Justice on behalf of a client.
