Founder of Polly Pocket toy brand 'which brought unbelievable joy to millions around the world' dies aged 91 as his MP son pays tribute

Sir Torquil Norman, founder of Bluebird Toys and creator of Polly Pocket, has died at age 91. His son, Conservative MP Jesse Norman, paid tribute, highlighting the joy Polly Pocket brought to millions. Polly Pocket became popular in 1989, becoming a childhood staple for 90s children. By 1994 an estimated three quarters of British girls owned a Polly Pocket.
