Garda and PSNI make two arrests in connection with fatal stabbing in Dublin city centre

Victim named as Quam Babatunde (34), who died after fight broke out in nightclub



A third man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Dublin city centre following a fight that began in a nightclub on South Anne Street. One suspect was arrested in Belfast while attempting to flee to Liverpool and was on bail for possession of an offensive weapon. The victim, in his 30s, was found seriously injured on South Anne Street after an altercation that followed an African music night at the Twenty Two club. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and have collected CCTV footage.
