Europarlamentarul AUR, Georgiana Teodorescu, afirmă că România se află astăzi într-o situație jenantă pe plan extern, una la care contribuie inclusiv ministrul de Externe, Emil Hurezeanu, care a fost prins mințind cu nerușinare despre o întâlnire cu Richard Grenell, trimisul special al președintelui american Donald Trump.
Georgiana Teodorescu, an MEP from the AUR party, criticized Romania's foreign policy, stating that it has been weakened by Emil Hurezeanu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Hurezeanu allegedly lied about having a substantial meeting with Richard Grenell, a special envoy of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Grenell reportedly stated in the Financial Times that he did not have a meaningful discussion with Hurezeanu and did not know him. Teodorescu argued that Hurezeanu should resign, as his actions have damaged Romania's international image and credibility. She emphasized the need for honest and trustworthy representatives to uphold Romania's reputation on the global stage.
